Job Title 1: Youth development coordinator

Job Description:
The Youth Program Facilitator will assist in planning, organizing, and delivering summer
activities and community workshops for children and youth. Working closely with
program mentors and volunteers, the facilitator will help design and lead interactive
sessions that promote inclusion, teamwork, and community engagement.
The role emphasizes leadership development, encouraging the participant to take
initiative in coordinating activities, supporting peers, and developing project
management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
– Support the planning and delivery of youth and children’s summer programs.
– Facilitate group activities, workshops, and mentorship sessions.
– Assist with participant registration, attendance tracking, and feedback collection.
– Contribute ideas to improve program design and engagement.
– Develop leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.
– Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants.

Skills and Learning Outcomes:

Language Skills:
Strong communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of Amharic is considered an asset.

Job Title 2: Media Event Coordinator

Job Description:
The Media Support Assistant will assist in documenting and promoting RGHC’s youth
and community programs through digital platforms. The participant will take photos and
videos, create social media content, and support the development of communication
materials that showcase youth achievements and community impact.
The role will also promote leadership development by encouraging creativity, initiative,
and decision-making in digital storytelling and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
– Capture and edit photos and videos of program activities.
– Develop social media posts and online content highlighting youth engagement.
– Assist in preparing promotional and informational materials.
– Support virtual outreach and digital communication strategies.
– Develop leadership, creativity, and technical skills in digital media production.
– Uphold RGHC’s values of inclusivity, collaboration, and community service.
